  • Vehicles: title transfers, new and out-of-state registrations, VIN verifications, plates and placards. DMV business partners in the city also handle some registration work for their own fee, including Xtreet LLC, 4200 California St., Suite 107, which the DMV lists as open 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. every day.
  • Elsewhere: commercial skills tests at the Fremont office, about 28 miles east-southeast, or the Mountain View Industry Business Center, about 32 miles southeast, the closest CDL test sites; and smog checks at licensed smog check stations.
